Celebrating!!!

We have had so much to celebrate the past couple of weeks!

We sent off our homestudy to the state, and it should be approved and sent on to CIS in the next week or so. Then K turned 3 and we had an Elmo party for her. And now K has officially been with us for as long as she was in the orphanage! I cannot believe that we have reached that milestone. She is growing up way too fast!!

CIS Fingerprints - DONE!

One more step completed in our adoption journey! We had our fingerprints done for CIS (Citizenship and Immigration Services) today!!

I should have the rest of the paperwork completed and gathered together this week to turn in for our home study to be completed. This could have been done four weeks ago (the week that we found out about Sampson) but after he passed away, I just kind of hit a wall in the whole process. However, I now have the motivation to get the ball rolling again.

Uganda is still trying to work out their paperwork issues, but when that is done, we will be ready to accept a referral! That is unless God has other plans.... We are just along for the ride, and as our blog address says, we are adopting by FAITH!
